Tzavta # 53 Jamie Bernstein

We were incredibly honored to host a special TzavtaBrunch Salon with the inimitable Jamie Bernstein—writer, narrator, filmmaker, and eldest daughter of the legendary Leonard Bernstein.

A collaboration with Calgary Pro Musica and moderated by the brilliant Christina Frangou, we gathered for an intimate morning filled with inspiration, music, and conversation—accompanied by a gorgeous, bountiful brunch featuring Jamie’s favorite foods.

Jamie spoke about legacy, music, and the arts as a conscious force for humanity—how creativity can shape a better world. A longtime ambassador for her father’s life and work, she brings warmth, wit, and deep insight to conversations about culture, connection, and meaning. Her approach—storytelling as activism—aligns deeply with the mission of Odem’s World Foundation: to center women’s voices, foster unapologetic connection, and elevate intellectual engagement through the arts.

She also shared her acclaimed memoir, Famous Father Girl, which was available for purchase and signing.
